1. This is a very important tip remember this if you are making a book use detail. Let me give you an example. Let’s say your writing your book and you say “John is holding a ruler.” It’s a good sentence. But it’s missing detail for example good detail that we can add is: John is holding a red ruler. To make it better you can describe what ruler or how it looks like for example, John is holding a new red ruler. Now that is a whole new different sentence.
2. GTA (get their attention) make sure you get their attention with strong topic sentences. Basically, a declarative statement that uses a strong verb like an action word for example I soared after seeing that concert. It could also be used as a dramatic word in an everyday sentence. This tip should help.

3. Use poetic devices. This might seem a little weird but if you put poetic devices in your book it would make it amazing. Even though the book you may be working on is not a poem it helps to have Metaphors this helps so much the definition is basically a figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable. So for example a metaphor could be raining cats and dogs. Or your room is a construction area. Also, hyperboles help a lot. Hyperboles are basically a way to say something in a nonliteral way. For example, I told you a million times is a pretty common one, and like there’s so much money in this box i could be a Lamborghini
